The terms that apply when you buy from Culet Couture.
What this site is
Culet Couture is the private jewelry department of Culet International Corp. This site sells directly to individual clients. Using it means accepting the terms below.
Everything is made to order
Nothing in the collection sits in a warehouse. When you order, we pull stones, match the line by hand and set the piece. That takes approximately one week. Because the piece does not exist until you order it, all sales are final. Our full position, including what we do cover, is on the returns page.
One of a kind pieces
Pieces in the One of a Kind section are single items. They are not sold through the cart and are offered subject to remaining available. A piece shown on the site may already be committed to another client; we will tell you promptly if so.
Prices and description
Prices are in US dollars and include shipping, insurance and the written appraisal. Sales tax is calculated at payment. Prices depend on the metal and the carat weight you choose and can change without notice, though the price shown when you check out is the price you pay.
We describe every piece as accurately as we can. Carat weights are total weights and may vary marginally within normal manufacturing tolerance. Colour reproduction varies between screens.
Product images are a mix of unretouched photographs and images enhanced using artificial intelligence to place the piece on a clean studio background. Stones, settings and proportions are true to what you receive.
Payment
Payment is taken by Stripe. We do not receive or store your card details. If a payment is declined or reversed we are not obliged to begin or continue work on the piece.
Shipping and title
We ship insured FedEx Priority Overnight with adult signature required, within the United States. Risk passes on delivery, which is why an adult signature is required and why we cannot authorise a package to be left. International orders are arranged directly with the shop.
Intellectual property
The text, photography, designs and layout on this site belong to Culet International Corp. You may not copy them for commercial use without written permission.
Liability
We stand behind what we make. Nothing here limits liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Beyond that, our liability in connection with an order is limited to the amount you paid for it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, and the courts of New York County have jurisdiction.
